About

Raised in the heart of the vibrant 80’s studio glass movement, Evan Barton was taught various types of glassworking from age four by his father, Michael Scott Barton. He studied ceramics at a now defunct visual arts high school in Sacramento, California. Later, he apprenticed in glassworking techniques under Boyce Lundstrom, studied woodworking in Yokohama, and is currently getting back to his stained glass roots after a few year hiatus from art altogether.
